I stepped out of my comfort zone again yesterday to get a tattoo. It’s only a small one, nothing fancy, but it’s meaning fills me with peace. Every time it catches my eye, I feel happy. This has to be a good thing.
My sister has returned for a few days (after spending time with family and friends), before she heads off home to Copenhagen tonight. A plane will fly her to the other side of the world, but this time we have packed so much into her stay, that I know it will sustain me until she next returns.
We had Poss’ parent teacher interviews on Monday night. She is doing well. More than we could have hoped for. There is extension classes being set up to push her academically and teacher is keen to learn as much as she can about how to get the best out of her. I love her enthusiasm and am so grateful for her kindness.
The days roll on. We are almost at the end of the week. The end of the month. About to finish Summer and head into Autumn. The cool change has finally arrived after what feels like an eternity of heat. Rain has fallen and the plants in our garden are slowly picking up their dried heads.
I feel a change in the air.
